Pretty Suds August 2020 Bath Bomb Box | Review

Another month has come and gone, so another box of perfect bath bombs has appeared at our door! This month, Pretty Suds had the theme of ‘In the Jungle’ which included a variety of different bath bombs, almost all of which were of different animals that can be found in a jungle! As always, these bath bombs are handmade in Yorkshire and only come in these boxes, not sold separately. Let’s get into this month’s box:

Cheeky Monkey and Ssssnake

One of the first animals I always think of is monkeys, so when I saw the Cheeky Monkey poking out of the box, I knew exactly what it was. This bath bomb is sweet plum and bitter blackberry, which smells quite fruity as you might imagine. The monkey’s face is yellow and blue, with some lovely eyes staring back at you! Many of the animals this month had eyes, which actually look quite good and have the detail of the eyes. The Ssssnake was one that got used up quite quickly, actually, as it was instantly claimed from the box! This snake was pink apple and watermelon, a favorite scent from Pretty Suds, and made the bath very purple!

Karma Chameleon and Croc

The Karma Chameleon came in the scent strawberries and cream, which smelled wonderful, and we really liked the details on the tail! The crock on the other hand was tangy apple and grapefruit, and quite large compared to the other bombs in the box! The croc is my personal favorite smell from this month’s box, it’s so fruity and sweet. Both of these animals had eyes on them, which looked really nice, and the chameleon had two tones to it, which looks super lovely.

Tiki Fury

The only non-animal bath bomb in this Pretty Suds box was the Tiki Fury, which is scented as creamy bubblegum ice cream, which is indeed a mouthful! It’s a very sweet smelling bath bomb, much like all of the bombs from this box, and despite the amount of pink on the face, turned the bath water a jungle green.

All of the bath bombs, as always, have been wonderful. I really liked the theme of this box, as there was a lot of variety in the look of these, unlike the flowers which all looked quite similar to me. I liked the sizes of this box as well. The card did not actually tell us the next theme, but it is Under The Sea, if you’re interested in picking up a box, you can get 20% off yourself!
