Pretty Suds July 2020 Bath Bomb Box | Review

Pretty Suds

After June’s Alien-themed bath bombs, I was pretty excited for the cute theme of Funky Flowers. But, to be honest, I am always excited for Pretty Suds! Our household loves bath bombs and this mystery box of bath goodies comes each month. All of the bath bombs are really great quality with some amazing color payoff – and they are handmade in Yorkshire, England, which is always a plus. Let’s dive into this month’s collection!

Rosie Cheeks & Pink Cloud

The most pink of the bath bombs come under the name Rosie Cheeks and Pink Cloud. Rosie Cheeks looks like a little rose bud with a green base, with scents of plum and patchouli – it’s a nice cent, though patchouli can sometimes come off as a bit strong! Pink cloud looks like a long pedaled pink flower that has a lighter shade of pink halfway through, as a stripe, scented with loads of flowers like peony, rose and jasmine, creating a really floral bath experience.

Lazy Daze & Peony Swing

Lazy Daze is green and white, looking like a flower with lots of small pedals, that is inspired by perfume with scents of jasmine, violets and wild berries. It’s a very interesting scent that I quite liked. Peony Swing is blue with bits of purple thrown in, which is scented with suede and poeny, also inspired by perfume.

Ray of Sunshine

Ray of Sunshine was my personal favorite, being a sunflower with orange and yellow. This one is scented with pimento, Japanese osmanthus, amber and vanilla. It’s got a complex scent that I haven’t actually smelled before.

All of these bombs are flat this month, with non of them being in the classic circular shape. The card itself had some issues this month, the descriptions of the scents of each bomb were written in a thin, light green font that I can’t actually read. The packaging was also different for the individual bombs – instead of being tied into a little bag, they are wrapped neatly. I didn’t have an opinion on the packaging this month but am curious if it will go back to the tied string bags of previous months!

The next theme is In the Jungle, which could be anything from animals to more plant life! If you’d like to get 20% off your first box, you can use any of the links in this article.
