Pretty Suds October 2020 Bath Bomb Box | Review

Last month, the theme was Deep Blue, however, I did not end up getting the time to write up the box, and the October box was just too perfect to not include as apart of blogtober! Pretty Suds Fright Night bundle included lots of Halloween themed and spooky themed bombs that really seemed perfect for this time of year. From monsters to skulls to ghost, there is something for everyone in this box.

Mike Washowski

Pretty Suds

I love the name for this one – a bath bomb that looks a little it like a green monster from Monster’s Inc. This bath bomb is scented with amber and rich spices, giving off a slightly musky smell. There is an undertone of fruit, which cuts through it well. I love the color – such a vibrant green!

Vampure’s Lure

This bath bomb looks like a vampire’s mouth, complete with their fangs! It’s raspberry and peppercorn scented – quite fruit heavy first with the peppercorn following. It’s a great scent – I really love raspberries.

The Tempest

Pretty Suds

Pretty Suds does sell these skulls on their site – I have purchased a few in the past – but this specific one, scented with treacle and toffee is one I have not seen before. It smells almost like candy – like caramel on a crisp day. It’s a sweet treat!

Jasper the Ghost

Jasper the ghost is very cute! The backing of this one is purple, creating a lovely purple bath. The scent is sugared apple, which is sweet but fruity, and it does smell of apple – the perfect scent for Fall! I love the details on this one.

Ogre Sneeze

Pretty Suds

This bomb is actually listed as a melted soap, with the scents of patchouli, peppercorn, and vanilla. It smells sort of wood-like. The top has some green slime oozed onto them, which is interesting. I like the simplicity of this bomb – it’s totally in theme without being over the top and makes a good fit for my collection.

The Fright Night subscription is perfect for Halloween, though it did come late in the month, which is a bit of a shame. All of these bombs are huge this month – especially compared to previous months – and all of them have such diverse scents. Sadly, this card did not give hints as to the next theme, but you can pick up this Halloween box, or grab a subscription on their website. All of these bath bombs are handmade in Yorkshire, which is a great touch.

This post is a part of our Blogtober series, all with a Halloween or Autumn theme.
