The best gifts for a foodie

I would define myself as a foodie and receiving gifts around Christmas, I really enjoy food-themed gifts! As I love food, I have picked out a bunch of food-related gifts for foodies like myself, from silly gifts to more serious gifts, there is a lot to enjoy in this list.

DrinkMate

If you know a foodie who has everything, the DrinkMate allows them to create their own sodas, cocktails, and infused waters! It’s a great way to allow foodies to create new and fun things – creating your own fizzy drinks, with flavors that you want to infuse into them, can be a great way for a foodie to enjoy making something different. This machine is lightweight and doesn’t take up too much space either!

Japanese Ramen Bowl Set

Presentation of the food I eat is pretty important to me. It’s always said you eat with your eyes first, so when I first got some real ramen bowls for my ramen, my entire soup game was stepped up a notch. These beautiful blue Japanese Ramen Bow Set are the loveliest I’ve ever had. Inside the bowl there is a little white swish, making the bottom of the bowl look very interesting! This set gives you two bowls, two ladles, a recipe book, and a gift bag that contains it all. It’s a really lovely gift that can be used again and again, even for stuff that isn’t ramen, though ramen looks pretty lovely in them.

Pizza Socks

There is something super funny to me about food themed socks. They come in a variety of different foods, but I found Pizza Socks, rolled to look like a pizza, are the best of the bunch. This box of pizza socks provides 4 pairs of socks, each in a different flavor. They have very cute packaging and are just a fun gift for any pizza lover, food lover, or Italian who loves talking about their heritage.

Cook Korean! by Robin Ha

Cook Korean! is probably my favourite cookbook. Not only does it contain great recipes for delicious Korean food, but the cookbook is also a comic book, with beautifully drawn pages of comics. This book talks about the basics that you’d need for Korean cooking, what should be in your pantry, the culture around how you eat Korean food, and how to make many, many dishes. It’s an interesting read that’s great to follow.

Gudetama Ceramic Bowl & Chopstick Set

I am a huge fan of Gudetama, and these bowls are perfect for anyone who loves the lazy egg or just enjoys some tasty ramen! They have a small hole in them, and a stand for chop sticks, which makes them very classy. I quite like the quality of them as well, for something so cute, they are so lovely. This pack from Toynk.com has two Gudetama Ceramic Bowls with matching Chopsticks, which is perfect for some ramen with a friend..

Instant Pot Duo

If you’re looking to get a really big gift for someone, the Instant Pot is always recommended. The Instant Pot can be used to do many things and becomes a pressure cooker, a slow cooker, a rice cooker, a yoghurt maker, a steamer, and can just keep food warm. Though it is bulky, it really replaces both a rice cooker and slow cooker, as well as a pressure cooker, which are all things that cooks do enjoy using. It’s just a wonderful multi-tool to have around.

Personalised Cutting and Serving Board

When it comes to cutting boards, as someone who loves to cook, you can never have enough. This personalised cutting and serving board is one that I have had for ages an ages, using the back of it to cut and the top – which can be beautifully engraved with any name you pick, to serve. Not only is the material simply beautiful, but the details are what really brings this board over the top. There are small divest to carry it around and even a ridge, to catch crumbs. It’s perfect.

Prestige Hamper British Deli Hamper

When it comes to a more general gift for those who love food, Prestige Hamper has many, many different kits of food, all beautifully presented in their own boxes and baskets, made perfectly for a gift. If you know one or two items the person likes, you can probably find a box around that – and with such a wide selection, there is truly something for anyone. .
